KNITTING FOR THOSE IN NEED
“[The LORD your God] ensures that orphans and widows receive justice.
He shows love to the foreigners living among you and gives them food and clothing…”
Join us in virtual fellowship as we knit gloves, hats and scarves for the homeless, as well as hats and blankets for newborns affected by poverty. We hope to see you there!
The Garden is pleased to offer a grant of up to $50USD ($65CDN) to purchase knitting supplies.
Please fill out the grant form for reimbursement consideration.

What if I can’t knit?
For those of us who can’t knit, try using a loom to knit hats and scarves! To get started, watch this video tutorial.
How to Donate
The knitted items can be donated directly to your local charity. If you’re unable to do this, we can help. Contact us for more information.
Please send us photos of your “knit-2-gether” knitting projects to share on our website and social media, with a short report of what you’ve been up to. Please share easy patterns and ideas.
Order FREE labels
Fill in the form below if you’d like to attach some labels to your knitting before donating. This helps us to feel like a community working together in service to our Lord and may provide opportunities for preaching. There’s space on the back of the label if you’d like to write a personal message.
Donate to The Garden
We’re blessed to be able to provide resources for individual and ecclesial outreach initiatives. If you’re interested in making a financial donation, we would be incredibly thankful. Through your generosity, The Garden will continue to share exciting new opportunities to inspire our community reach out to those most in need. Donations can be made on our donation page or the WCF website.
