*Please allow 2-5 days for delivery

Here’s how it works:

Now that you’re ready to place your order of 20 sleeping bags, just fill out the form below. If you have any questions, please email initiatives@thegardenoutreach.org

Place your order here:

Pray God will guide you to find a local charity which needs sleeping bags.

This website will help you find local homeless charities (U.S. only), otherwise you can search online for charities in your area.

Contact the charity that you have chosen.

Ask the charity if there is a need for 20 sleeping bags – if not, try another. The likelihood is however they will welcome the offer with open arms. The sleeping bags are water-resistant and comes with a waterproof compression carry bag. Suitable for temperatures down to -11c (12F). Length: 6.8 feet  |  Width: 2.3 feet

Decide who will receive the delivery then place your order!

Whoever is accepting the sleeping bag order should be at the shipping location at the time of delivery and have space to temporarily store the sleeping bags until they are taken to the charity. You’re going to receive quite a few large boxes so plan accordingly! Once the logistics have been finalized, you’re all ready to place the order. Simply use the form below and a member of our team will contact you to arrange a delivery date!

Arrange a delivery date with the charity.

It only takes one or two people to drop the sleeping bags off – but try to include more if possible, dependent on any COVID restrictions the charity might have in place. Ask the charity staff for permission to take photographs for your report to The Garden, and confirm The Garden is allowed to share the photos on social media. We’d be happy to include the charity name and a link to their website!

Establish an ongoing relationship with the charity.

When visiting the charity to drop off the sleeping bags, it’s a perfect opportunity to establish a relationship with the staff. Find out more about the work of the charity. Ask if they would be interested in visiting your ecclesia or CYC, post-COVID, to give a presentation about their charity. Ask for ideas on how your group can continue to support the work of the charity.

Submit a brief report with one or two photographs to The Garden.

We would love to share your report on our social media as a means to inspire and encourage other brothers and sisters, and so that our community may glorify our Heavenly Father.
