Our eldercare initiative provides a grant of up to $50USD to help purchase supplies for community outreach directed towards our aging population.

The elderly population is ever-increasing, creating a strain on those who serve senior citizens. Volunteers can help provide social connections for senior citizens, improving their overall well-being. The National Center for Health Statistics claims that approximately 60% of nursing home residents get no regular visitors, creating a loneliness epidemic which has been linked to poorer health in seniors. Can you help fill that gap? Check out our Ideas Page for ways that you can help. Then apply for our grant to help purchase any supplies you might need, such as board games, craft supplies, or small treats to hand out.
