Recipient: Salvation Amy Initiative: Care Packs
On behalf of Christadelphians, Sis. Sandra and I delivered packaged food, chocolates, small gifts, and pamphlets to the Salvation Army Centre. A special thank you to Sister Debra Spilar who hand knitted warm colourful winter hats. We are grateful for her donation. Thanks to the generosity of WCF grants, we were able to include a range of items in each backpack.
Also, Sister Sandra delivered 20 sleeping bags to The Lighthouse Shelter in Orillia (just north of Barrie). Staff at the shelter were thrilled.
Once again, this has been a truly generous initiative, and Sandra and I have really enjoyed being part of it.
