The sisters of the Baltimore Ecclesia created cold-weather carepacks to donate to RVA Light in Richmond, Virginia. RVA Light is a resource center run and financed by Christadelphians for the unhoused in downtown Richmond. Its goal is to provide a safe space where people feel known and loved and can access a supportive community. You can find out more at rvalight.com.

The carepacks we assembled included socks, a hat and gloves, lip balm, tissues, hand warmers, snacks, and a Dunkin Donuts gift card, as well as a postcard with an encouraging message and contact info for RVA light. Thanks to Garden Outreach for supplying the drawstring bags, postcards, and a grant to help purchase supplies. We appreciated the opportunity to support the mission of RVA Light.
