Recipient: Adopt-a-Family (AAF) Initiative: Knit2Gether
The sewing sisters of Treasure Coast FL ecclesia made 24 tote bags from remnants of upholstery projects. The fabrics were free!
On January 21 members of our ecclesia met in Brother Jim and Sister Nora’s garage and filled the bags with personal care items- making 8 bags for men and 16 bags for women. The whole process only took about 30 minutes because of the great help from our new sister in the Truth, Joanna, and her family.
On January 24, Sister Kathy and her husband, Bob. delivered the “bags of love” to Adopt-a-Family (AAF), an organization that focuses on the needs of homeless families in the Palm Beach area. We have worked with AAF twice before (2021 care packs and Kits for Kids)
