We delivered our sleeping bags to the local Homeless Shelter yesterday, Grace Wins Haven in Newport, Or. It was starting to rain and there were lines of people needing help, standing outside. This was best photo we could get as people are only allowed inside one at a time. It is called shelter, but really it’s a resource place for those in need of support, where they give out sleeping bags, clothes, etc. (A food bank is close by too). They only open the shelter in Fair Pavilion when the temperature gets too cold here.
Grace Wins Haven appreciated the bags as they give them out every day. It was a good experience for us all – especially the children to better appreciate their fortunate homes and families.
Our Thanks,
Jane and Jim and all the Oregon Coast Ecclesia
