Our ecclesia has begun an outreach which is focused on who God is and His character. We are creating recorded devotionals and wanted to become more involved and supportive of our neighborhood. We recently attended a National Neighborhood Out Event which was just down the street from our hall. We were able to connect with many different organizations and other churches and local non-profits. We made some great contacts and found several locations of where were could donate our Kits4Kids. The same day we packed the backpacks we also put together little “goodie bags’ for our ongoing outreach activities. We had a small group who helped pack the backpacks but all ages. We are also planning to participate in the Bags of Love again and Care Packs as we have a lot of homeless in our neighborhood. We appreciate the donated backpacks and know that they will be helpful to schools who have children throughout the year join and are in need of school supplies which can be so expensive for families to provide. May God continue to bless these efforts of showing God’s character, as His Son Jesus did, in loving our neighbors.
